This three-part DSA Lunch & Learn series offers a practical, hands-on introduction to generative AI — with a focus on learning by doing. Each session intends to build confidence using AI tools ethically, effectively, and creatively in your work.

Session 2: Using AI for Working with and Munging Data

  • Explore how ChatGPT can assist with data summarization, organization, and analysis. A handout on “AI Resources at UMD” will be provided for those who did not attend Session 1.

  • Discover built-in AI features in popular campus tools, paid or free-market tools and learn how to integrate them into your workflow. A handout on “AI Resources at UMD” will be provided for those who did not attend Session 1.
