Student Success Service Leadership Scholarship Fund

The Student Success Service Leadership Scholarship provides financial support to students who demonstrate a commitment to the Black community through their leadership and/or involvement. Current students as well as newly admitted students are eligible for the scholarship and participants in the Maryland Ascent Program are encouraged to apply.

Nyumburu Cultural Center Scholarship Fund

Donated Gifts to the Nyumburu Cultural Center Scholarship Fund will assist multiple groups of students who are in need of financial assistance to pursue higher education, study abroad, or pursue other educational pursuits at the University of Maryland. Your contribution(s) will go towards scholarship opportunities to help students from African and African Diaspora cultures in financial need to remain matriculated at the University of Maryland.

Black Alumni Outreach and Engagement Fund

The Black Alumni Outreach and Engagement Fund will provide program support for University of Maryland Alumni Association initiatives that reconnect Black alumni with one another and the university. Funds may be used for Black Alumni Weekend events and/or other initiatives designed to serve and inspire Black alumni to achieve their personal and professional goals.
